About

Join Congressman Earl Blumenauer, Oregon Representatives Janelle Bynum and Carla Piluso, and more on September 8, 2018 from 10:00am-2:30pm to engage your fellow community members about electing people and voting on issues that reflect the values, goals, and diversity of our region in November!

Help us reach our goal of knocking on 40,000 doors by October, which if met, will represent the largest dedicated door-knocking effort to ever happen in East County. Our even bigger goal is to knock on 75,000 doors leading up to the November election!

The event kicks off at 10:00am, with a comprehensive training on how to door-knock and register voters, as well as education on the issues and candidates up for election. After hearing from some of our candidates, you and a partner will be given a list of addresses, a copy of the same script practiced during training, voter registration forms, and materials to leave behind, so you can confidently engage at each door. After about two hours of conversations, you’ll head back to the Sunrise Center, where we will debrief and celebrate our success!
